The First Look Images on the Second Season of ‘Kingdom’ are Here!

Can March 13 come any sooner?

It feels like it has been forever since the first season of the Korean Netflix Originnal Kingdom dropped on Netflix. If you're one of those who's been left on a huge cliffhanger and wanting for more, then you're probably also just excited to see whatever new content they drop. 

Last week, Netflix dropped the official launch date, key art, and teaser to the show. For this week, they have dropped the first look images ahead of its launch this March 13.

The second season of Kingdom will continue to follow the Crown Prince Lee Chang in the bloody fight against the legion of zombies attacking his people. It will also chronicle his journey as he tries to go back to Hanyang to search for the roots of the plague and uncover the secret plot which involves the throne of Joseon-era Korea. 

The first look images give the audience of all the main characters and where this season will take them – from Prince Lee Chang and the physician Seo Bi who are both fighting and finding the cure to the epidemic to the power hungry Cho Hak Bu who wants to claim the throne.

Kingdom stars Ju Ji Hoon, Bae Doona, Ryu Seung Ryong, Kim Sang Ho, Kim Sung Kyu, and more. It's directed by Kim Seung Hun (A HArd Day, The Tunnel), with a screenplay by Kim Eun Hee (Signal, Phantom).

The second season of Kingdom launches globally on Netflix this March 13. Stream the first season here
