The Hargreeves are finally coming back! In a video posted last night on Netflix’s website, the cast of The Umbrella Academy has announced that the show will be returning for Season 2 this July 31!

The video features the Hargreeves siblings – all of who are in quarantine as well – dancing and goofing around to the tune of Tiffany’s “I Think We’re Alone Now”, referencing the iconic scene from Season 1.
In case you haven’t seen the show yet, The Umbrella Academy is based on a comic book series by My Chemical Romance’s frontman Gerard Way, with illustrations by Gabriel BĆ”. It centers on the 6 siblings who reunite to solve the mystery behind their father’s death. Despite this goal, the family starts to come apart because of their divergent personalities and abilities, and impending threat of an apocalypse.
Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David CastaƱeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin H. Min are set to reprise their roles for the upcoming season. Steve Blackman will also be returning as the Showrunner and Executive Producer.
Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy, which will be having 10 one-hour episodes, launches on Netflix this July 31. Stream the first season here.
