The Baby-Sitters Club is based on Ann Martin’s best-selling books which have spanned through many generations. It follows the friendship of a group of middle-schoolers who stars a babysitting business in their town in Connecticut. The series is a story of friendship, female empowerment, and entrepreneurship.
Published between 1986 and 2000, The Baby-Sitters Club book franchise spawned a 13-episode series that ran in 1990 and a film which premiered in 1995.
The new series is directed by Lucia Aniello, with Rachel Shukert as showrunner. It stars Sophie Grace, Malia Baker, Momona Tamada, Shay Rudolph, Xochitl Gomez, Alicia Silverstone, and more.
