Charlize Theron is starring as a mercenary warrior in The Old Guard, the newest action film coming to Netflix! The film launches on the streaming site this July 10, 2020.
The Old Guard is based on a graphic novel series by Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernandez. It follows a warrior named Andy, who is from a group of mercenaries who have fought to protect the mortal world for centuries. Tasked to take on an emergency mission, Andy and the newbie soldier Nile must help the group eliminate those who seek to replicate and monetize their power.
The upcoming action-packed film is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, with a screenplay by Greg Rucka. It stars Charlize Theron, Kiki Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Harry Melling, and more.
