The Night Agent: Ready for Another Thrilling Mission in Season 2

The mission continues, Netflix green lights Season 2.

Get ready for more high-stakes action and nail-biting suspense as Netflix renews The Night Agent for a second season, consisting of 10 episodes. The series, produced by Sony Pictures Television Studios, premiered on March 23, 2023, and quickly climbed to Netflix’s Top 10. Debuting at the #1 spot on the English TV List with 168.71M hours viewed, it became the most viewed title for the week. The action-thriller ranks #3 for premiere week of viewing across all Season 1 TV and appeared in the Top 10 in 93 countries.

The Powerhouse Team Behind the Show

Shawn Ryan, known for his work on The Shield and S.W.A.T., serves as creator, showrunner, and executive producer for The Night Agent under MiddKid Productions. Other returning executive producers from the first season include Marney Hochman with MiddKid Productions; Seth Gordon and Julia Gunn with Exhibit A; Jamie Vanderbilt, William Sherak, Paul Neinstein, and Nicole Tossou with Project X; and David Beaubaire with Sunset Lane Media.

A High-Octane Action-Thriller

Season 1 of The Night Agent is based on the novel by Matthew Quirk. The sophisticated, character-driven action-thriller centers around a low-level FBI agent working in the White House basement. He’s responsible for a phone that never rings—until it does one fateful night, launching him into a fast-moving and dangerous conspiracy that reaches all the way to the Oval Office.
