The Straw Hat Pirates are here! Netflix has now revealed the main cast for their upcoming live-action adaptation of the hit manga and anime series, One Piece!
The cast lineup includes Iñaki Godoy (Who Killed Sara) as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu (Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter) as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd (Fear Street) as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson (All Rise) as Usopp, and Taz Skylar (Boiling Point) as Sanji.
“We’ve been working with Netflix and Tomorrow Studios on the massive project that is the Hollywood live-action series adaptation of ONE PIECE! How many years has it been since it was announced, right? I know, I know!” Oda excitedly shares in a statement, via Netflix Geeked.

Based on the famous manga and anime series of the same name from creator Eiichiro Oda, One Piece follows the pirate Luffy who goes on a quest to become the King of the Pirates and find the One Piece– the treasure that the former Pirate King Gol D. Roger has hidden for the next generation of pirates. Along the way, Luffy meets new friends who will become part of his crew, and they will soon be known across the seas as the Straw Hat Pirates.
Serving as showrunner for the live-action One Piece series is Steven Maeda. He will also co-write and executive produce with Matt Owens. Eiichiro Oda also serves as an executive producer for the show.
