Disney+ has finally unveiled the first trailer for Home Sweet Home Alone, a remake of the popular holiday movie franchise from the ’90s. In this trailer, we get to see Archie Yates– who played the adorable Yorki in Jojo Rabbit— as the latest home-alone kid who must repel burglars by crafting some homemade traps.

Following the plot of the original, Home Sweet Home Alone tells the story of the young boy Max Mercer who was accidentally left at home when his family takes a trip to Japan for the holidays. As he enjoys the freedom of being alone, a married couple tries to break into his home to steal a precious heirloom. But first, they must pass through Max and his painful tricks and traps.
Also part of the cast are Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney, Aisling Bea, Kenan Thompson, Tim Simons, Pete Holmes, Devin Ratray, Ally Maki, and Chris Parnell. It is directed by Dan Mazer from a screenplay by Mikey Day & Streeter Seidell.
