In case you missed it, the first teaser trailer for Netflix’s Super Crooks is out and it gives us a glimpse of the anime series’ action-packed supervillain heist!
Based on the comic series of Kick-Ass creator Mark Millar and renowned Filipino comic book artist Leinil Yu, Super Crooks is a heist story set in a world filled with superheroes and supervillains. It tells the story of the super crook Heat who must pay a large gambling debt before he gets killed. With the help of his biggest fan, Johnny Bolt, and a ragtag group of super-baddies, they’ll try to pull off a dangerous heist by stealing money from the world’s most notorious supervillain.

Super Crooks is an animated spin-off of Netflix’s Jupiter’s Legacy, a live-action adaptation of another comic book series from Mark Millar which was canceled after one season. Before the release of the series, it was also revealed that more comic books from the Millarworld are being adapted into shows and films for Netflix, including The Magic Order, American Jesus, Reborn, Empress, Huck, Sharkey The Bounty Hunter, and Prodigy.
Horimoto Nobu will be directing from a script by Dai Sato, while Studio Bones (My Hero Academia, Mob Psycho 100) will be providing the animation.
