It’s been almost a year since we got word of Jisoo starring in the upcoming K-drama Snowdrop alongside Jung Hae In. And after waiting for so long for more updates about this drama to drop, you can only imagine just how excited fans are when they caught the sneak peek of the title on JTBC last night!
The clip is only 10 seconds long but it’s enough to get fans hyped up again on the two leads’ chemistry. Watch the clip below:
Snowdrop is set in 1987 and during South Korea’s Democracy Movement. The said period was a time where Koreans were doing mass protests that would lead to the end of the authoritarian and the establishment of South Korea’s present-day democratic government. It follows Jung Hae In’s Im Soo Ho, a graduate student who participated in a pro-democracy protest. He is then discovered by Jisoo’s Eun Young Cho, who hides him from the government despite the dangers of being under close surveillance.
The drama comes from Cho Hyun Tak and Yoo Hyun Mi – the director and the writer of the popular K-drama Sky Castle. Aside from Jung Hae In and Jisoo, the drama also stars Jang Seung Jo, Yoo In Na, Kim Hye Joon, and Yoon Se Ah, and more.
Snowdrop is scheduled to air on JTBC later in the year. While waiting for the drama to drop, you can watch Jisoo in her previous cameos in The ProducersĀ andĀ Arthdal Chronicles, Meanwhile, Jung Hae In’s Netflix K-drama D.P. is set to premiere later this month.
