The King: Eternal Monarch is set to arrive on Netflix this Friday, April 17, and just in time for its upcoming premiere, the streaming site has launched the much-awaited trailer to the K-drama.

From the writer of Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, Mr. Sunshine, and Descendants of the Sun comes The King: Eternal Monarch, a romantic-fantasy drama about the relationships of people who are from two parallel universes. The drama centers on Lee Gon – a king who wants to close the gates between the two dimensions – and Jung Tae Eul – a police who wants to protect the people around her.
The drama is directed by Baek Sang Hoon (Secret, Who Are You: School 2015, Descendants of the Sun) and Jeong Jee Hyung (Search: WWW), with a script by Kim Eun Suk. It stars Lee Min Ho, Kim Go Eun, Woo Do Hwan, Kim Kyung Nam, Jung Eun Chae, and Lee Jung Jin.
