Based on the webtoon of the same name, Itaewon Class is a story set in the neighborhood of Itaewon, along a street that seems to be a "compact version of the entire world". It centers on Park Saeroyi who opens his own restaurant in the neighborhood to take revenge on the family of the man who fired his dad and caused his expulsion from school.
The drama also tells the story of a group of young people – all bearing the same bravado and stubbornness – who stars their own "cool" revolt against the irrational world. This comes from Kim Seong Yoon, the same director who gave us dramas like Love in the Moonlight, Discovery of Love, and Big. Joining Park Seo Joon in the cast are Kim Da Mi, Yoo Jae Myung, Kwon Na Ra, Lee Joo Hyung, and more.
Itaewon Class launches on Netflix this February 1, with 2 new episodes coming every week.
