From the director of films like Meyerowitz Stories and Frances Ha comes the new Netflix film Marriage Story, starring Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver, and is set to release in fall of this year.
Instead of a single trailer, director Noah Baumbach decided to release companion trailers to tell the story through the perspective of the two characters, bringing out the shared truth despite the different viewpoints.
Marriage Story is a love story set during its breakdown. This newest film from Baumbach is said to be a portrait on break up of a marriage, and a family staying together. Starring alongside Johansson and Driver are Laura Dern, Alan Alda, and Ray Liotta.
The film is written and directed by Noah Baumbach, and executive produced by Craig Shilowich.
