Liking someone can be already complicated (and occasionally heartbreaking) enough. Can one app change the course of your love life and connect you to your perfect match if it alerts you whenever someone nearby likes you?
'Love Alarm' is a new Netflix original series based on a popular South Korean webtoon of the same name. It features an app called Love Alarm, which tells the user if someone from the 10-meter radius has a crush on them. It then becomes a phenomenon, as people can now check their popularity (or the lack of it) through an app.
In a press junket recently held in Seoul, ClickTheCity got up close with the "Love Alarm' main cast, comprising of Korean actors Kim So-hyun, Jung Ga-ram, and Song Kang. In the series, the three portray Jojo, Hye-young and Sun-oh respectively, living in a world where they are all tangled up in a love triangle, with a charming second lead ending up becoming the rival of his best friend in winning the heart of the girl.
