The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, the prequel to Jim Henson's 1982 classic film arrives on Netflix at the end of this month! A few weeks before its launch, the streaming service debuts the final trailer to the upcoming epic series, giving the audience a brief look at the world of Thra.

A 10-part series based on Jim Henson's 1982 feature film, The Dark Crystal, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is a prequel telling a new story years before the events of the movie. The film follows three Gelflings – Rian, Brea, and Deet – who go on an adventure in the middle of a rebellion after they uncover the truth behind the power of the Skeksis, a race which corrupted the Crystal of Truth at the heart of Thra.
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance uses classic puppetry and cutting edge visual effects, and features a star-studded cast of actors who will lend their voices to the characters of the film. This includes Taron Egerton, Anya Taylor-Joy, Nathalie Emmanuel, Helena Bonham Carter, Sigourney Weaver, Theo James, Alicia Vikander, Lena Headey, Mark Hammill, Awkwafina, and more.
