Greetings and salutations, Heathers fans!

The 80s killer cult classic is getting a TV show reboot which premiers this March! Check out the Red Band Trailer Paramount Network released just a few days ago:

Set in the modern day, Heathers is a pitch-black comedy anthology series centering on Veronica Sawyer and how she deals with the high school evils - the Heathers. It's almost like the original 1980s film, except it features a more diverse Heathers which includes a plus-sized Heather Chandler (Melanie Field), a black lesbian Heather McNamara (Jasmine Mathews), and a gender queer Heather "Heath" Duke (Brendan Scannell).

Grace Victoria Cox will be portraying Veronica Sawyer while James Scully will be playing the sociopathic Jason Dean, originally played by Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, respectively. The original Heather Duke, Shannon Doherty, is also set to make an appearance on the show, although we still have no idea as to what role she will be taking on. Selma Blair will also be starring in the show as Heather Duke's stepmother.

The original Heathers was directed by Michael Lehmann and directed by Daniel Waters, and it centers on Veronica who's sick of being a part of the popular high school clique. When she meets the new student, Jason Dean, she finds herself involved in a series of murders covered up as suicides.

Heathers is set to premier on Paramount Network this March 7. For more information, you may visit the show's official Facebook page
