The Doctor Strange and Sherlock actor is coming back to BBC in its upcoming TV-movie drama, The Child in Time! Just a couple of days ago, the British network released a 40-second trailer of the movie which will be released on September 24.

A film based on the novel of the same name by Ian McEwan, The Child in TIme follows Stephen Lewis (Benedict Cumberbatch), a successful children's book writer, and the events that follow the disappearance of his 4-year-old daughter – from the devastation of his marriage to the ways that he struggle and cope up with grief.
Directed by Julian Farino, the film will also be starring Kelly Macdonald, Stephen Campbell Moore, and Saskia Reeves.
The Child in Time comes out on September 24.
