Pop singer and musical theater actress Bituin Escalante is the featured guest of Art 2 Art in its January 29 episode.
Acclaimed as one of the finest vocalists of her generation, Bituin says her interest in music was inspired by her mother, Gigi Escalante, a soloist of the 1970s band Ambivalent Crowd. In Art 2 Art, she tells host Lisa Macuja the best advice she ever got and, in turn, offers her own words of wisdom to aspiring performing artists. Bituin also performs the song Aba, ba, ba Boogie from the musical Katy!

Meanwhile, for its January 22 episode, Art 2 Art welcomes visual artist and art educator Ambie Abaño. A licensed architect, Ambie chose to go into the arts full-time and eventually focused on printmaking. Showing samples of her artworks, she explains the process of making woodcut prints and how she experiments with materials to get a variety of results.
