New Star Wars, Marvel, and Disney Attractions Coming to Disney Parks

Planning for a Disneyland getaway soon? New attractions are coming to different Disney Parks starting next year!

Fans of Star War, Marvel, and other Disney characters are sure in for a treat, as new awe-inspiring attractions are coming to different Disney parks around the world!

During this year's biggest Disney event, the D23 Expo 2019, Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products Chairman Bob Chapek revealed details on the next generation of Disney attractions that will bring the immersive storytelling come to life.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser
Walt Disney World Resort

A hotel that would immerse you into the world, or rather, the universe of Star Wars comes in the form of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. Guests will "board" the cruiser and they will embark on a space-like journey for two days and two nights. While not all activities have been rolled out, you can expect that wielding lightsabers will be part of it. The official opening of this attraction is yet to be revealed.

Avengers Campus
Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Paris

Marvel fans assemble! This new attraction is coming to Disneyland California Adventure next year, while an identical one would later rise at Disneyland Paris. A glimpse of the Avengers Campus was unveiled through a number of concept art pieces at the Disney D23 Expo. These include the W.E.B. ride with Spider-Man where you can web up Spider-Bots, a Quinjet flying experience, a tour of the California Sanctum, and more!

Mary Poppins Attraction
Epcot, Walt Disney World Resort, Florida

The magical nanny of Cherry Tree Lane is also getting her own attraction at the World Showcase at Epcot. Immerse yourself into the magic of Mary Poppins by walking the streets as seen in the film, and entering Number 17 where you'll get hurled into the world of the Banksy family. It is set to open on January 2020.

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana
Epcot, Walt Disney World Resort, Florida

Make way for a Moana-inspired attraction rising at the Epcot's World Nature section! According to the Disney Parks blog, Journey of Water promises a "lush exploration trail will invite you to meet and play with magical, living water" while highlighting the importance of the water cycle. There is no date announced yet on when the attraction will be up and running.

Magic Happens Parade
Main Street USA, Disneyland Park

See your beloved characters from Sleeping Beauty, Moana, and Coco come alive as they get aboard stunning floats that would fill the Main Street of Disneyland Park next year. With the promising concept designs revealed for the floats, the parade would undoubtedly make spectators believe in their own ways that magic indeed happens.

Disney Wish
Disney Cruise Line Fleet

Setting sail in January 2022 is Disney Cruise Line's latest ship, the Disney Wish! As with the other four Disney ships that came before it, Wish will embody a certain Disney character and that would be Rapunzel. A concept art shows a gold interior graced by a gigantic chandelier hanging from the night-sky inspired ceiling.
