As more and more Filipinos gear up for the easing of requirements and restrictions for air travel, Cebu Pacific continues to ramp up its efforts to safeguard the health and safety of both passengers and crew by vaccinating its workforce.
To date, Cebu Pacific has inoculated around 58% of its flight crew, while 51% of its total workforce have received their vaccine doses. This has been made possible in partnership with the Pasay LGU and the Project Balik-Buhay of Cebu, alongside LGU vaccination programs where employees reside.
On July 28, 2021, CEB rolled out its vaccination program which will inoculate employees and their dependents, and third-party workers for free. This is part of the Gokongwei Group’s COVID Protect Program which kicked off on July 6 with the vaccination of frontliners from Robinsons Retail.
The program is expected to continue in the coming days as CEB aims to fully vaccinate all employees and third party workers by October this year.

The airline continues to intensify its safety drive to inspire passenger confidence. It recently received a 7-star safety rating for its efforts to safeguard the health and safety of its passengers and its flight and ground crews, continuously implements a seamless, contactless flight experience for its passengers. Other measures such as ensuring regular and thorough disinfection of its aircraft fleet in line with global standards, on top of the presence of HEPA filters in its jet aircraft, have also been consistently practiced.
The employee vaccination initiative is also in line with the airline company’s shared vision with Ingat Angat, a private-sector led campaign that promotes safety measures and vaccination to help foster a nationwide economic recovery.
As the campaign’s official airline partner, besides implementing stringent health protocols through its multi-layered approach and advocating vaccination and safe practices, Cebu Pacific has also transported millions of vaccine doses for the Filipino people. CEB has carried over 15.5 million COVID-19 vaccine doses from China to Manila, and close to 5 million doses to 23 provinces to date.
