Long Weekend Plans? Head to Lima Park Hotel in Batangas and Enjoy a Unique Sunset Tour of Taal Lake

A short road trip under two hours leads you to the only 4 star hotel in Batangas where you can tour Taal Lake and the flowery gardens of Marian Orchard, enjoy scrumptious Asian cuisine, and unwind under the sun.

Batangas is known for many things – its beaches and mountains, the amazing food, the people, and its rich culture and history. As it's also a few hours away from Metro Manila, a lot of people flock there especially during the summertime to unwind and experience everything that the region has to offer.

However, for the ones who are looking for a place to stay at that's right in the heart of the city, but still has easy access to some of the region's tourist spots, there's Lima Park Hotel which offers business-class amenities and tour that would cover popular spots.

Lima Park Hotel, known to be the only four-star hotel in Batangas, sits right at the heart of Lima Technology Center. It got its name by combining Lipa and Malvar together, as the complex is located by the boundaries of the two cities/municipalities in Batangas. With it being close to numerous factories and offices, the hotel also makes a good place not only for staycation trips, but also for events, conventions, and company outings.

The hotel boasts of 136 Superior, De Luxe, Premiere Luxe, Suite, Executive Suite, and Governor's Suite rooms, all of which are equipped with Wi-fi, cable TV, safety deposit boxes, mini-bar, ensuite toilet and bath with hot and cold shower, and more which will make sure that the guests will have a comfortable stay all throughout.

Whether it's for business or for leisure purposes, Lima Park Hotel has various amenities that guests could check out while there. There's a Fitness Center where guests could go to stay in shape, a swimming pool for the kids and the adults, and a spa they could visit for a full, relaxing staycation experience.

Organizations who are having their team building activities can use the hotel's team building park which is located by the pool, while the children can pass their time at the playground, where they can enjoy and interact with other kids.

When it comes to dining, Lima Park Hotel does not fall short. There's Plum Asian Cuisine which, aside from being the setting to the hotel's breakfast buffet, also serves a variety of dishes that go from traditional Filipino to a fusion of Asian dishes. If drinking by the pool's more of your thing, there's the Patio Bar where you can order and enjoy light snacks with a glass of refreshing and cooling shakes and cocktails.

Because Lima Park Hotel also wants to show the best that Batangas has to offer its visitors while they're there, the hotel offers its Batangas Lakelands Tour for both walk-in and in-house guests.

Priced at P1980/person (walk-in guest) and P1080/person (in-house guest) for a group of 6, the tour includes a tour to the Marian Orchard in Balete, Batangas, and a boat tour to Manakah which gives you a picturesque view of the Taal Lake. Rates are already inclusive of roundtrip transfers, as well as snacks and drinks at Manakah.

The Marian Orchard, which is about 30-minutes away from the hotel, is a pilgrimage site where devotees go to pray or renew their faith. It's also a popular destination during the Lenten Season, as people go to walk along the Via Crucis, which has life-sized replicas of the 14 Stations of the Cross.

However, there's still a lot of things to do and see even if you go on a regular day. There's the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus which regularly holds masses, the Podium, the Garden Steps which leads to the Rosarium, and the Two Hearts Promenade. Simply walking along the orchard is an experience already as wherever you look, you will be surrounded by flowers of different kinds and colors.

After another 30-minute drive from the Orchard, guests will arrive by the dock which serves as the jump-off point for the boat tour that will take them to Manakah. Although Lima Park Hotel started out by offering this cruise in the morning (which they still do, by the way), a lot of people opt to take the sunset tour instead as the view of the Taal Lake in Manakah during the sunset is even more beautiful. Here, guests also get to enjoy the complimentary snacks and Buko Juice to keep them refreshed on a warm day.
