The government has placed the NCR+ area — NCR, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Bulacan — back to GCQ from March 29 to April 4. During this period, malls will be closed, except for essential services and stores like supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, and hardware. Only restaurants offering takeout and delivery services will be allowed to operate.

Suicide Squad 2

Warner Bros. has unveiled the official red band trailer for The Suicide Squad, coming to HBO MAX this August 6. It follows the imprisoned convicts of Belle Reve penitentiary who are sent as part of Task Force X to destroy a Nazi-Era prison and laboratory — Jotunheim. The prison holds political prisoners and conducted experiments on them. The film stars Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Taika Waititi, Viola Davis, Idris Elba, and more. James Gunn, whose last film credit is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 directs this film.

The Suicide Squad arrives on HBO MAX this August 6.

Joseon Exorcist

After facing criticism from Korean viewers, SBS announced the cancellation of Joseon Exorcist after 2 episodes. The criticisms came after the drama showed a scene of Jang Dong Yoon’s Prince Chungnyung eating Chinese dishes like dumplings and mooncakes, as well as scenes that involve Chinese props. Netizens also called the production out for portraying King Taejong massacring his own people.

The issue comes at a sensitive time for Korean, after Chinese personalities claimed the hanbok, kimchi, and taekwondo to have Chinese roots.

My Hero Academia, Season 5

Ahead of its premiere this April 3, My Hero Academia has finally released the OP and ED for Season 5. The new opening theme is No. 1″ from DISH, while the ending theme is “Ashiato” by The Peggies. The new season will be covering the manga’s Joint Training Arc, featuring the training exercise between Class 1-A and Class 1-B. Here, they form small teams, testing how much they’ve improved since they started school.

The Irregulars

The Irregulars, a series which puts the spotlight on Baker Street’s squad of misfits, started streaming on Netflix last March 26. The story follows a gang of street teens who are commissioned and manipulated by Dr. Watson and Sherlock Holmes to solve crimes for them. Things take a turn, however, when their cases take a supernatural turn, leaving the group to fight the dark power together to save the world.

It stars Thaddea Graham, Darci Shaw, Jojo Macari, McKell David, and Harrison Osterfield as the members of the Irregulars.
