The Promised Neverland manga series wrapped up last year, but with the second season of the anime adaptation still to come out, its fan base continues to grow to this day.
But for those who have finished the whole story already, creators Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu have been dropping extra chapters to explore more details in the story. Now, they’ve released a new special chapter titled ‘We Were Born’.
But as Shonen Jump revealed, this one-shot was actually created before The Promised Neverland came to be, and served as a basis for the manga series. You can read it for free at the Viz Media website. Just remember that this might contain spoilers for those who haven’t read the whole series yet.
