The Mandalorian, Season 2

The second season of The Mandalorian is now streaming on Disney+! If you’ve already binge-watched all episodes, you’d know that Mark Hamill appeared in his “de-aged” version as Luke Skywalker at the season finale! This was done by using Hamill’s voice and face, as well as a stand-in. According to Hamill himself, keeping the appearance a secret for a year was “nothing less than a miracle.”

The Mandalorian is now streaming on Disney+.

SBS Entertainment Awards 2020

Some of South Korea’s biggest entertainment personalities gathered last December 19 for the SBS Entertainment Awards 2020. This year’s awards show was talked-about for having the attendees wear face masks that feature their own smiles. Some of the winners in the recent awards show include HaHa and Jang Yoon Jung who won Top Excellence Award, My Ugly Duckling for Top Excellence in Programming Award, and Yang Se Hyung for Producers’ Award. Running Man and My Ugly Duckling‘s Kim Jong Kook won the Daesang (Grand Award) in the said awards show.

Ian McKellen

It has been two weeks since the United Kingdom rolled out the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines for its citizens. Sir Ian McKellen is one of those who have recently received their first dose of the vaccine, as he belongs to the “eligible group” for the vaccine, given to those over the age of 80. According to the press release from NHS England, the 81-year-old actor said that he feels honored to receive the vaccine. He also said that “he would urge anyone who is offered the vaccine to take up the offer.”

Cobra Kai and The Karate Kid Reunion

ICYMI, we’re getting the third season of Cobra Kai this January! Just in time for the return of the comedy series, the cast of The Karate Kid and Cobra Kai will be reuniting in Josh Gad’s Reunited Apart YouTube series. Some of the original film’s cast members who are present at the reunion include Elisabeth Shue, Jon Hurwitz, Martin Kove, and Randee Heller.

The reunion airs this December 21, 9AM PT, which is December 22, 1AM, Philippine Time.

ABS-CBN’s Christmas Special

Your favorite ABS-CBN stars have reunited in ABS-CBN’s Christmas Special, Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya: The ABS-CBN Christmas Special. Held last night, December 20, the special was streamed live on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z Channel 11, TFC, iWantTFC, and KTX. Some of the stars who performed in the said event include Kathniel, Gary V, Ogie Alcasid, Kim Chiu, and more. Thai BL love team BrightWin also made an appearance at the event as the two shared a special message for their fans.
