Netflix announced last Friday, July 31, that Money Heist‘s upcoming fifth season will be its last. According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, the series’ final season will go beyond the heist as the team avenges Nairobi’s death. It will also be raising the stakes as the heist goes from a “chess game – a mere intellectual strategy – to a war strategy: attack and contention”. The new season will be introducing 2 new characters played by Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Patrick Criado.

Money Heist’s four seasons are streaming on Netflix.

(Still) 2gether

GMMTV dropped the first trailer to (Still) Together last Friday. The show is the 5-episode sequel to the hit Thai BL drama 2gether: The Series, and will be focusing on Tine and Sarawat as they deal with bigger responsibilities while entering the second year in their relationship. The sequel premieres on August 14, and will be airing in the Philippines via iWant.

Black is King

Beyonce also had her big release last Friday with Black is King – a musical film and visual album written, directed, and executive produced by Beyonce herself. It also serves as the companion album to 2019’s The Lion King: The Gift. The film is now out on Disney+, and is sadly not available yet here in the Philippines.

Midnight Sun

More than a decade since Breaking Dawn dropped in bookstores, Midnight Sun is finally out for (most of) the world to read! The book, which comes out on August 4, is the companion novel to Stephenie Meyer’s 2005 book Twilight, retelling the events of the novel from the perspective of Edward Cullen.
