Here in the Philippines, the UNICEF started operating in 1948, and ever since has been assisting the government in its policies, programs, and services to ensure that Filipino children can fully enjoy their rights to survival, protection, and education.

PAWS is a well-known non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of animal welfare. They have a temporary shelter for dogs, cats, and other animals that were once victims of cruelty or neglect, rehabilitating them and finding them their fur-ever home.
