The San Diego Comic Con (SDCC), the biggest comic convention that every fan of pop culture– be it from the comics, films, TV shows, games, or books– aspire to see and be part of, announced that they will be holding an online event!
The event will be called Comic-Con @ Home, teased to come this summer. While there is still scarcity in details, their teaser video emphasizes the good things one can expect in this online iteration of the event, including no lines, badges for all, and a front row seat.
Prior to this, they also initiated the WonderCon@Home, which features news and videos from special guests and panels that would’ve been part of the WonderCon Anaheim 2020; and the Comic-Con Museum@Home, packed with Ā fun activity sheets and exclusive museum videos.
Just last month, the SDCC International announced that for the first time in 50 years, they will have to cancel this year’s event. This was expected, since we all still continue to grapple against the pandemic.
