Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) and the Quezon City Veterinary Department are teaming up for a full day of free pet wellness services such as Pet Bakuna, Pet Konsulta, Snip ‘en Snap and fun activities on July 11 at Robinsons Galleria, starting at 10 AM. This special event, dubbed “R Happiest Place for Pets – World Zoonoses Day,” aims to raise awareness about infectious diseases that can spread from animals to humans. QC Vet’s rescued cats and dogs will also be up for adoption. 

Zoonotic diseases, such as rabies, pose risks to both animal and human health. That’s why RLC is leading the change with Pet Bakuna, an anti-rabies vaccination drive. This initiative helps pet parents follow best practices in pet care and ensures their furry companions are protected.

Pet Konsulta is a veterinary consultation program aimed at providing convenience and accessibility for fur parents. Vet consultation is an important responsibility of every fur parent as it enables them to monitor their pet’s health, prevent possible illnesses and ensure that their fur babies are in good shape. 

Another pet service that can be availed is the spay and neuter operations called Snip ‘en Snap. Spaying and neutering has its long-term health benefits such as preventing the development of reproductive illnesses. Likewise, it contributes to a more compassionate and sustainable approach on managing the overpopulation of unplanned litter. 

The event will also highlight an activity close to all animal lovers’ hearts – pet adoption or The Gift of Furever Home. This adoption drive is focused on finding loving and permanent homes for rescued cats and dogs. Interested adopters undergo thorough screening, background checks, and interviews until they find their purrfect match.
