Happiness is the newest K-drama that premiered on streaming sites over the weekend. The apocalyptic thriller is set in the near future, in a high-rise apartment that separates those who can buy units from those who can only afford to rent. It follows a police officer named Yoon Sae Bom and her high school classmate Jung Yi Hyun who finds themselves trapped in the apartment when a deadly virus starts to spread in the city and fighting for survival as fear and distrust spread among the residents.
Starring in this drama are Han Hyo Joo and Park Hyung Sik, who has recently been discharged from the military. Stream it on iQiyi and Viu.

Love Hard
Love Hard is the newest holiday rom-com that premiered on Netflix last November 5. It centers on Natalie Bauer, a dating column writer based in Los Angeles who falls in love with a man named Josh Lin on a dating app. She then decided to travel to his hometown on East Coast to surprise him for Christmas, only to discover that she’s been catfished and that Josh is really a nerdy man. She then learns that her crush Tag Abbott actually lives in the same town, and Josh offers to set the two up if she pretends to be his girlfriend for the holidays.

HYBE Webtoons
In a corporate briefing held last November 4, HYBE has announced its business plans for the coming years. This includes utilizing their own original stories showcased in various ways as a way to expand outside of music. With this, the company announced four original stories which will be released as webtoons and web novels next year. These are 7Fates: CHAKHO with BTS, THE STAR SEEKERS with TOMORROW X TOGETHER, DARK MOON with ENHYPEN, and Crimson Heart. The four titles will be released on Naver WEBTOON and Wattpad.
Miss Globe Maureen Montagne
Filipina beauty queen Maureen Montagne has been crowned Miss Globe 2021 during the coronation night which happened last November 6 at the Opera Theater in Tirana, Albania. Nigeria’s Esther Gabriel was the first-runner up, while Turkey’s Melike Bali, Venezuela’s Jhosskaren Carrizo Smiler, and Canada’s Hailey Hamelin-Wilson were second, third, and fourth runner-up, respectively.
Sadie Sink
ICYMI, Taylor Swift is set to release a 10-minute version of “All Too Well” this month! And as if that’s not enough, the singer-songwriter has also announced that she will be releasing a short film for it! Swift announced it with a teaser video uploaded last week, sharing that Stranger Things star Sadie Sink and Maze Runner lead star Dylan O’Brien will both be appearing in it.
The short film will be premiering this November 12, which is the same day as the release of the re-recorded version of her 2012 album Red. Aside from the tracks from Red, the album will also be including new collab songs like “Nothing New” with Phoebe Bridgers, “I Bet You Think About Me” with Chris Stapelton, and “Run,” with Ed Sheeran.
