Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
The new Marvel Movie, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, has finally premiered in cinemas abroad, setting a North American record of $71.4 million when it first opened. The movie stars Simu Liu as the titular character, a martial arts master who must face the Ten Rings Organization and its leader, the Mandarin. Joining Liu in this film are Awkwafina, Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, and Michelle Yeoh.
The Philippines is yet to get a premiere date for this new Marvel film.

BTS in Guinness World Records Hall of Fame
The Guinness World Records announced recently that the South Korean group BTS is now in its 2022 Hall of Fame. This is after the group bagged a total of 23 titles across their music and social media. In a tweet posted last September 2, Guinness World Records said: “After breaking countless records throughout 2021, they have also cemented their place in the Guinness World Records Hall of Fame”
BLACKPINK’s Lisa
ICYMI, Lisa from the K-pop group BLACKPINK is set to release her first solo album this September 10. And to celebrate and promote the album, it’s been announced that she will be guesting on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this September 10 to perform the lead single “Lalisa.”
Lisa is the third Blackpink member to release a solo single, after Jennie and Rosé.
Live-Action Rick and Morty
Love Rick and Morty? Here’s a treat from Adult Swim to you! The company has released a short clip featuring Back to the Future’s Christopher Lloyd as the titular Rick. The 15-second video features the two characters coming through a portal, Rick burping, and Morty muttering his iconic “Aww geez.” While this got fans excited, not many details have been released about it, and it might just be just another promotion for the animated series.
Money Heist Part 5: Volume 1
The highly-anticipated first volume of the final season of Money Heist is finally here! The five-episode volume continues to follow the gang, who’s been in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours and has managed to rescue Lisbon.
