To celebrate the 90th birthday of American composer Stephen Sondheim, Broadway stars and veterans have all gathered together (virtually, of course!) for Take Me to the World: A Sondheim 90th Celebration, a YouTube live event to honor his music.

The live event is happening right now, so you can start tuning in on the link below: 

The virtual concert will be featuring over 20 performers singing songs from Sondheim's repertoire. The list of stars includes Meryl Streep, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Josh Groban, Jake Gyllenhaal, Lea Salonga, Bernadette Peters, Patti LuPone, Kristine Chenoweth, Sutton Foster, Neil Patrick Harris, Stephen Schwartz, and more. 

Take Me to the World will also be a fundraising event for ASTEP (Artists Striving to End Poverty), which is an organization that connects artists to different underserved communities in the United States. 

Stephen Sondheim is the man behind the music of productions West Side Story, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Follies, Into the Woods, and more,
