The Ilocano epic Biag ni Lam-Ang, from which the play is based, tells the story of Lam-Ang, who was born with incredible strength. When he learns that the Igorots killed his father, Lam-Ang sets out on a journey to kill the Igorot tribesmen. He later falls in love with the maiden Ines and courts her, accompanied by his magical dog and rooster.

The play will star JC Santos, Angeli Bayani, Anna Luna, and more. It will be staged by Tanghalang Pilipino with the direction of Fitz Bitana and Marco Viaña who is also the designer for the set. The play is tentatively staged for a November 29 to December 15 run at the Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino in the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
