Whether you were introduced to the magical & monstrous world of The Witcher through the games, books, or the Netflix TV series, if you loved the franchise then you’d probably want to check out this upcoming mobile game!
Announced in August last year, The Witcher: Monster Slayer is a free-to-play AR RPG game coming to Android and iOS devices this July 21. The augmented reality game will operate like Pokemon GO where players will explore the real world and slay witcher-world monsters through their mobile devices, just like Geralt of Rivia!
This upcoming mobile game is created by Spokko, an independent development studio that is part of the CD Projekt Red family. Android users who are excited to play The Witcher: Monster Slayer can now pre-register through the Google Play Store. For more information, visit the game’s website.
Based on the books by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher‘s world reached more audiences through its video game adaptations, and recently through the Netflix series which stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. On July 10, Netflix and CD Projekt Red are also holding the WitcherCon, a global virtual event dedicated to The Witcher universe.
