After a few months of having very limited modes of transportation in the city, Angkas came back last November 25 to serve passengers again! This is after numerous testing and consultation with the government, as well as the UP College of Public Health.
Check out the announcement they made on their Facebook page below:

With the return of the ride-service app, they have also announced that they’ll be implementing guidelines to ensure the safety of both the bikers and the passengers. This includes requiring the passengers to bring their own helmets, equipping the bikers with passenger shields, and implementing cashless payments.
For those who still don’t have their own helmets, though, Angkas announces their Kanya Kanyang Bili or KKB program. For this, they partnered up with other brands to give passengers a wider variety and more affordable selection of helmets.
The company also assures its passengers that their bikers get PCR tested before they’re allowed to operate. Bikers must also submit daily temperature and sanitation checks before the start of the workday.
