It’s that time of the year again where Samsung holds its biggest event yet, the Samsung Unpacked 2020. This year, they have launched three flagship phones — Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra — and their much-awaited flip phone.
The tech giant has yet again unpacked interesting new features, including a 100x space zoom and the ability to shoot videos at 8k, and technology. Here’s a rundown of all the important phone and tech reveals from the event.
Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra
Ultra Resolution Camera
The newest Samsung flagship smartphones boast of four cameras.
The Galaxy S20 and S20+ are equipped with a 10MP front camera, 12MP ultrawide, 12MP wide, 64MP telephoto and ToF (S20+ only) rear camera. Meanwhile, the S20 Ultra has a 40MP front camera, 108MP wide, 12MP ultrawide, 48MP telephoto and ToF.
Galaxy S20’s Space Zoom technology uses Hybrid Optic Zoom which includes AI-powered digital zoom that’s perfect for concerts or sceneries that are far away. The Galaxy S20 and S20+ can zoom up to 30x while the Galaxy S20 Ultra has a Super Resolution Zoom up to 100x with a clearer view.
8K Video Creation
The Galaxy S20 is the world’s first smartphone that can capture 8K videos, and users can grab a still from the video and turn it into a 33MP high-res photo. Moreover, the smartphones are equipped with a Super Steady and anti-rolling stabilization and AI motion analysis so videos would look smooth.
The new flagship smartphones promise to support you all day, and overnight. It has an intelligent battery and gives you 4,000mAh of battery for the S20, 4,500mAh of battery for S20+ and 5,000mAh of battery for the S20 Ultra.
The Galaxy S20 series comes with a 25W fast charger while the S20 Ultra supports 45W Super Fast charging as well.
Hyper-fast Infinity Display
The Galaxy S20 has a 6.2-inch screen, S20+ has a 6.7-inch screen and the S20 Ultra has a 6.9-inch screen, all of which has a 20:9 aspect ration. Just like its predecessor, it is equipped with a Dynamic AMOLED 2.0.
It has a refresh rate of 120hz which means the screen refreshes 120 times per second.
The Galaxy S20 is available in 8+120gb, Cloud Pink and Cosmic Gray, priced at P49,990.
The Galaxy S20+ is available in 8+120gb, Cosmic Gray and Cosmic Black, priced at P55,990.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra is available in 8+120gb, Cosmic Gray and Cosmic Black, priced at P69,990.
The Galaxy S20 series will be available in stores starting March 20, 2020.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip
