The Messenger app has gotten a noticeable change after its latest update, sporting a new logo and more features.
From solid blue, the app’s logo now has a blue-to-pink gradient, which heralds Messenger’s upcoming cross-platform messaging with Instagram.
Messenger’s Vice President Stan Chudnovsky says in a blog post that the new look of their app marks its “continued evolution from a simple way to message your Facebook friends, to a place to hang out with your favorite people, on your favorite apps and devices.”
Of course they didn’t stop with just the logo. New themes have also been made available, including tie-dye and love, which can really personalize your conversation with its visual backgrounds.
More new features are rolling out soon, including selfie stickers which allows you to make stickers with your own photos; and vanish mode where you can have a private conversation with no chat history.
Just last month, Messenger also added the Watch Together feature which allows friends in a video call start a watch party within the app.
For more updates about the exciting features coming soon on Messenger, follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
