After 20 years, The Blair Witch Project is still one of the most successful independent films of all time, not to mention that it is considered to be the movie that popularized the 'found-footage technique' that has been used in other successful horror movies like Paranormal Activity and Cloverfield.
This time, you can experience first-hand the terrors of the film with the Blair Witch game set for release this August 31 on PC and XBOX.

Here is the official synopsis for the game:
"It’s 1996. A young boy disappears in the Black Hills Forest near Burkittsville, Maryland. As Ellis, a former police officer with a troubled past, you join the search. What starts as an ordinary investigation soon turns into an endless nightmare as you confront your fears and the Blair Witch, a mysterious force that haunts the woods…"
The game will be exploring the cinematic lore of the Blair Witch, with the mysterious forces moving about as you go deep into the Black Hills Forest, with only your dog Bullet as companion.
