Instagram has rolled out a set of new editing tools to give users more customizing power on their posts. With version 6, users can adjust the levels of brightness, contrast, warmth, saturation, highlights, shadows, vignette, and sharpness. Users can also adjust how much of a filter they want to apply to a photo by double tapping the filter icon.

ā€œFrom brightening up a photo of your dinner party to better capturing the warmth of a sunset portrait, these new creative tools help you bring out and share the beauty of the moment as you remember itā€”right inside the same simple Instagram you already know,ā€ says Instagram in a blog post.

The new creative tools are aimed to provide users with more options (other than the overly used default filters) to make their photos stand out.
