Genshin Impact developer miHoYo has just unveiled the teaser trailer for their latest character, Aloy!
Aloy arrives at the high-fantasy world of Teyvat through Genshin Impact’s crossover event with the popular PlayStation game franchise, Horizon Zero Dawn. As the trailer reveals, the legendary Nora Huntress brought her bow and arrow with her, and will serve as a Cryo character in miHoYo’s hit console and mobile game. Check out the trailer below:
Aloy is the protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn and its upcoming sequel, Horizon Forbidden West. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where monstrous machines have taken over the land, the first Horizon game follows the young huntress Aloy as she tries to uncover the truth behind her world and her own past.
Meanwhile, Genshin Impact is about a set of twins who have been separated by a powerful demigoddess after traveling to the world of Teyvat. In order for them to reunite, one of the twins must seek the help of The Seven — the gods of each element.
Aloy becomes available on Genshin Impact for free starting this September 1. PS4 and PS5 players can access the character in Genshin Impact 2.1, while players of other platforms will have to wait until Genshin Impact 2.2 is rolled out to use her character.
