Right now, the mobile game has a staggering 5 million pre-registrations from players all around the world, and we could only expect them to be very excited for the game's global release on Android and iOS this August 29.

But what exactly can we expect from this new Pokémon game?

From Pallet Town, the popular Nintendo game on Gameboy has now reached our smartphones, this time, set in the artificial island of Pasio. You embark on a journey with your Pokémon, meeting other trainers as you advance through the story. Once you've made friends with other trainers, you can then form a team and battle to become the champion of the Pokémon Masters League tournament being held on Pasio.

You'll also get the chance to work with other popular characters from the Pokémon franchise. You will encounter legendary Pokémon trainer Red and his Charizard, Blue and his Pidgeot, Sinnoh's champion Cynthia with her Garchomp and more!

But you can't really enjoy the game without battles! The battles in Pokémon Masters are 3-on-3 matches that happen in real time. Unleash attacks or use items on a turn-based combat that closely resembles the classic gameplay we've always known.

Pokémon Masters is free with in-app purchases. It will be available on the App Store for iOS users and the Google Play Store for Android users in its global launch this August 29. For more information, you may also visit the game's Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.
