With multiple smartphone announcements arriving on the scene this year, tech giant Samsung has done it again with the launch of Galaxy Note 10 at their much-awaited Unpacked event. Here are all the important details you need to know about the newest Android phones – Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ – from Samsung:
Display and Performance
For the first time in Samsung history, the Galaxy Note 10 comes in two sizes – the Galaxy Note 10 which is a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display (2280×1080), and the Note 10+ which has a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display (3040×1440). Both smartphones have a hole-punch selfie camera and feature a nearly bezel-less edge-to-edge Cinematic Infinity Display.
Both smartphones run on Chipset Exynos 7nm 9825 which is optimized for better performance in graphically demanding apps.
Storage and Battery
The Galaxy Note 10 comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage while the Note 10+ have 12GB of RAM and a choice of 256GB or 512GB of storage. The newest smartphone from Samsung has a built-in 3,500mAh battery while the Note 10+ has a 4,300mAh battery.
Samsung also boasts a Super Fast Charging feature. How fast is fast? With just 30 minutes of charge, you can get up to 50-60% battery juice that lasts throughout the day.
Camera
Both smartphones are equipped with a 12MP front camera. The smaller Galaxy Note 10 has a triple rear camera – 12MP wide-angle, 16MP ultra-wide and 12MP telephoto, while the larger one has a quad rear camera – 16MP ultra-wide, 12MP wide-angle, 12MP telephoto and a DepthVision camera.
Another notable feature is the Audio Zoom feature where you can zoom in to record the sound that you want to focus on and push background noise for that clean recording, every time.
S Pen
With a new release smartphone, comes a redesign of their much-talked-about S Pen. The newest features of the pen are its ability to read up to six gestures (up, down, left, right, clockwise and counter-clockwise), digital text conversion, AR doodle and screen recording + doodle. The S Pen's color will match the Note 10's colors.
Availability
The Note 10 will be available in five colors – Aura Glow, Aura Black, Aura White, Aura Pink and Aura Red while the Note 10+ comes in four colors – Aura Glow, Aura Black, Aura White and Aura Blue. Pre-order starts on August 8 to 18 and will be available in stores in August 23.
The smaller Note 10 is priced at P53,990 (256gb), while the Note 10 Plus is priced at P60,990 (256gb) and P72,990 (512gb).

Galaxy Watch Active2
The newest addition to the Galaxy smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch Active2 is an improved version of the older versions. Samsung claims the Active2 has an improved heart rate monitor and accelerometer. It comes in two sizes and versions: 40mm and 44mm and Bluetooth and LTE.
Just like its older version, it still has the same core features — tracking over 39 workouts, stress tracking, guided meditation, sleep analysis and so much more. Another notable feature is it supports real-time voice and text translation in over 16 languages and gives you the ability to respond to tweets and watch video clips on the watch.
The 40mm Galaxy Watch Active2 is available in colors Aqua Black and Pink Gold while the 44mm one is available in colors Aqua Black, Cloud Silver and Stainless Steel Silver. Price starts at $280 (≈ P14,600) for the 40-mm watch and $300 (≈ P15,600) for the 44-mm watch, and will be in the market in September.
Galaxy Tab S6
Nope, the next Galaxy Tab will not be called an S5, but rather S6. The Galaxy Tab S6 has a nearly bezel-less sAMOLED display with a 10.5-inch (2560×1600) screen. It is equipped with a dual camera – 13MP and 5MP rear – that’s a first in a Galaxy Tab and has a 7,050mAh battery that can last up to 15 hours of video.
You’ll never lose your S Pen since it magnetically attaches to the rear side of the tablet so you can easily write down your ideas. The S Pen also automatically charges when you attach it.
It is available in three colors: Cloud Blue, Rose Blush and Mountain Gray with pen color to match, launching in August.
