What makes āThe Holdoversā so enjoyable is that itās intelligent and well-crafted. Itās no wonder that Paul Giamatti and Daāvine Joy Randolph are gearing up to the winners of the Oscars in their category.
As something new and different, āI Am Not Big Birdā was poised to really turn heads, start conversations, and really break boundaries. But they played it safe. They got the laughs, for sure, the people in the theater with me were laughing at all the gags, shocked at āthe audacity of it.ā

āGG,ā with its gritty neon-laced visuals and its lack of any sort of romantic angle in its storytelling, or its confidence in telling this story without the use of its lead stars matinee appeal feels refreshing and different.
