Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart
June 3 to 5 (The PETA Theater Center)

The Normal Heart debuted in Manila last year with limited runs in Makati City and has stirred the consciousness of those who have seen it. It is a call to arms, chronicling a man’s personal crusade for justice amidst resistance, intolerance and ignorance on the part of government, family and friends.

In line with the PETA tradition of staging plays that do not only entertain but also educate and promote awareness, the PETA Theater Center partners with The Necessary Theatre to bring to its stage, The Normal Heart, an award-winning play that has captured the hearts of its audiences during its Asian Premiere in Makati last July 2015.

The Normal Heart will run at The PETA Theater Center located at No. 5 Eymard Drive, New Manila, Quezon City on June 3 (8pm), June 4 (3pm, 8pm) and June 5 (3pm and 8pm).

Ticket prices are P1,200 for VIP, P1,000 for orchestra center and balcony center, P800 for orchestra sides and P500 for balcony sides.

Vinai Live in Chaos Manila

VINAI is an electronic music group formed in 2011 by Italian producers Alessandro Vinai and Andrea Vinai. As a duo, they have produced a number of successful EDM songs such as the single "Raveology" in January 2014 with Canadian electronic group DVBBS, as well as “Bounce Generation”, “How We Party”, “Louder”, and “The Wave”. Rak of Aegis Is Back For Its 5th Rerun

An exciting lineup of comebacks and new projects are to be expected as the Philippine Educational Theater (PETA), gears towards its golden year! Opening the 49th theater season is one of PETA’s biggest hits; the comedy musical Rak of Aegis is back for its 5th rerun, happening from June to August 2016 with 82 shows.

Rak of Aegis features Aileen, a promodizer with big dreams of raising her family from the knee-deep floods that have plagued their town for months. This original Filipino musical features songs from the iconic band Aegis, with songs such as “Luha” “Halik” and “Basang-basa sa Ulan” with a star-studded ensemble on an award winning, must-see set.

Karnabal Festival Returns to Town
June 3 to 5 (The PETA Theater Center)

KARNABAL FESTIVAL is all set to reunite artists in the next chapter of their tripartite run of performance-gathering. The first run is themed as Discovery, the third is Divergence, and the transitioning run is eyeing for Development.

This year's festival will run from June 1 to June 12, in Diliman, Quezon City. Karnabal Festival is set to engage participating local and international artists with their audiences through different platforms for performances, dialogues, training programs, and exhibitions.

Initial gatherings among artists and festival curators came to fruition since April 2016. Workshops and consultation among artists were exercised and spearheaded by the Festival Curators, JK Anicoche, Eisa Jocson, Sarah Salazar, Ness Roque-Lumbres and David Finnigan.
