TNT: Gulf Kanawit, Mario Maurer, Nonkul Chanon

Thai Stars Mario Maurer, Gulf Kanawut, and Nonkul Chanon Join TNT in Their Biggest Campaign Yet

TNT has announced today that they’ve signed three of today’s biggest Thai stars — Mario Maurer, Gulf Kanawut, and Nonkul Chanon — for their “Kilig Saya” campaign! The actors will be headlining the brand’s biggest campaign yet, alongside the country’s very own Sue Ramirez and Sarah Geronimo.

The decision to enlist the three personalities comes as the Filipino youth become fans of Thai films and series. As Thai content becomes more accessible to Filipino via streaming platforms and social media, the spread of the so-called Thai Invasion becomes more prominent all over the world.

According to Jane Basas, Smart’s SVP and Head of Consumer Wireless Business, this partnership will bring the Thai actors even closer to their fans as they become TNT’s newest KaTropas.

Mario Maurer is one of the most popular Thai actors to date, with a huge fanbase across Southeast Asia. He is most famous for starring in the 2007 film Love in Siam and the 2010 film Crazy Little Thing Called Love.

Gulf Kanawut, on the other hand, rose to fame for playing Type in the 2019 BL series TharnType: The Series. He starred in this series alongside Mew Suppasit. Lastly, Nonkul Chanon is known for his role as Bank in Bad Genius. The film was 2017’s highest-grossing Thai film and broke Thai film earning records in several Asian countries.
