The Story:
Azucar Sugaring Wax is a brand that came from Rica Siena, whose initially created sugar wax for herself since the metro’s waxing parlors had to temporarily close because of the quarantine. However, when she realized that her DIY sugar wax worked wonders on removing body hair, she decided to start her own business so she can share the product with more people.
“I was amazed by the result, and thought of sharing it with other people who would be needing hair removal and be able to save money, as well,” Rica shared.
The Specialty:
Azucar Sugaring Wax takes pride in its homemade product which promises a safe, affordable, and easy way to remove unwanted body hair without needing to leave home. It’s made with all-natural ingredients including lemon, sugar, and water, making it suitable even for those with sensitive skin. Sugaring is also more gentle than other methods of waxing, so users tend to get less irritation and redness from it.
As of now, Azucar Sugaring Wax offers two main products: Azucar Wax Regular and Azucar Wax with Activated Charcoal. While these two products both do the trick at removing hair, Rica recommends the latter, as it detoxifies and gently exfoliates the skin, leaving it smooth and hydrated after waxing.
Aside from the sugar wax, they also have a Soothing Gel which you can use after waxing. They also offer waxing kits, which has everything a beginner needs when waxing at home, from the wax to the wooden spatulas.

Payments can be via online banking (BPI, Metrobank, Unionbank, and GCash). They also accept payments on a Cash on Delivery basis for those ordering from Lazada and Shopee. Azucar Wax delivers worldwide via third-party couriers. They also do in-house delivery every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday for those in the Rizal and Metro Manila area.
