Three years after it was announced that they will be opening a store here in the Philippines, IKEA PHILIPPINES is finally opening its door to the public this November 25! This comes just a few weeks after the brand officially opened its online store for the public.
Known to be the biggest IKEA store in the Philippines, the new store has a total surface area of 68,000 square-meters, distributed across 5 floors. The store houses not only its brick-and-mortar retail space, but also its warehouse, and the call center handling the brand’s e-commerce side.
When visiting the store, people get to have access to over 8,000 products that they will definitely want to add to their homes. It will also be featuring a Showroom and a Market Hall, which gives them an idea as to how they can use their IKEA picks to decorate their spaces. Another area that visitors can look forward to is the restaurant, which can seat 850 people. Here, they can enjoy a selection of Swedish food products, including a variety of vegetarian and vegan products like meatballs, hot dogs, and ice cream.
Just before it opens this November 25, we were lucky to have a chance to tour and check out the soon-to-open IKEA store. Check out some of the things you will see once the Swedish store opens:
How to Visit:
As their way of prioritizing the health and safety of the customers and co-workers, IKEA will only be receiving a limited number of people per day via a slot booking system. To book their slot, customers only need to visit the IKEA website, where they can book their date, pick their preferred time slot, and choose how many visitors will go with them. They will then get a digital token which they will need to enter the store.
IKEA Family members will get early access to IKEA’s booking page.
