Now churning at all BONO outlets is the Caramel Miso, a premium take on the sweet and salty combination, with a Japanese twist. Fans of the ever so popular Salted Caramel should definitely check this new quirky flavor out.
Available now for P150/scoop, it's a scoop of velvety-smooth gelato which blends caramel and Japanese miso paste deliciously. Taking the unusual combination of caramel and miso (a seasoning mostly used for the Japanese staple miso soup we're more familiar with) a notch higher is a lipsmacking caramel miso sauce that is freshly drizzled on the gelato. Sweet, salty, pleasantly savory, and addicting, each spoonful of the new Caramel Miso gives one's tastebuds a happy umami experience.
Caramel Miso is also ready to bring home by Pint (P495) and Tub (P895), both of which include the caramel miso sauce on a separate container to pour on your gelato. Try it too as an affogato to be enjoyed in-store by ordering the Caramel Miso Affogato (P200), where a scoop of gelato meets a shot of espresso, and flourished with a drizzling of the caramel miso sauce.
