    Coco (2017)

    G Adventure, Animation, Family
    Cast
Anthony Gonzalez, Gael Garcia Bernal, Benjamin Bratt
    Director
    Lee Unkrich

Disney-Pixar is back with what the tandem are best known: quality story, magnificent visuals and relatable characters. Coco celebrates family and tradition. The songs are fitting to each scene especially the “Remember Me” part in the end. Coco is worth your money and time. And if you are going to watch it, don’t forget to bring tissues or think of the best way to hide your tears, like I did.

    Justice League (2017)

    PG Action, Adventure, Fantasy
    Cast
Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher
    Director
    Zack Snyder

Better than BvS. As usual, Wonder Woman stole the show. Aquaman lacks exposure. I think he was gonna be a lit characters but he was sidelined. Fight scenes are better than Marvel's but some of the jokes fell flat. Highlight of the movie was the fight at Superman's memorial. A change for DC. You guys should watch it in 3D.

    Love the Visual Effects
    Great Fight Scenes
    Great in 3D

    The Barker (2017)

    PG Comedy, Romance
    Cast
    Empoy Marquez
    Director
    Dennis Padilla

The Barker: All bark, no bite I wonder what made Empoy sign up for this trash of a movie promoted as action-comedy. The jokes are lame and flat and the plot is stupid and messed-up. Everything about this movie - sound, lighting, make-up, editing, script and setting - are horrible. I felt sorry for Empoy (fresh from the acclaimed Kita Kita), Shy Carlos, Sylvia Sanchez (lauded for The Greatest Love), Jeric Raval and veterans Ronnie Lazaro and Nonie Buencamino(cameo) for being part of this poorly written and poorly directed flick. Halfway through the film, I was dozing and cringing becau... Read more
