Pamilya Ordinaryo is an extraordinary movie that is very timely and an eye opener to the real society in the streets of Manila. The actors, Ronwaldo Martin and Hasmine Killip, effectively and honestly portrayed the characters of Aris and Jane. It is a must-watch film that would definitely left something in our hearts. Kudos to its director, Eduardo Roy Jr..
Kusina gives tribute to mothers that unconditionally and generously love their families. It has a good and moving story plus an excellent treatment on screenplay, however, others might not be pleased with that kind. Judy Ann Santos is really an amazing actress. She once again showed that she is one of the best actresses in the industry.
Dagsin has promising elements about the darkness of Martial Law and Japanese occupation in the Philippines, however, the gravity and horrors of the said events are not effectively conveyed to the audience.
Ang Bagong Pamilya ni Ponching is light, funny and has lessons to share. Janus del Prado really showcased his best acting performamce however the movie itself didn't work at some points.
Mercury is Mine is funny, hilarious, and bizarre. It is such an amazing movie that tells the Filipino-American relationship in a very unique and funny way. It is a must-see film with great actors, Pokwang and Bret Jackson plus a well-written script. Congratulations to the director, Jason Paul Laxamana, and to the rest of the people involved. It is definitely one of the best movies I've seen.
