Two days before it premieres on YouTube, BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s drops the second teaser to the official music video “On the Ground.”
Rosé participated in writing the song, alongside Amy Allen, Raul Cubina, Jorden Odegard, Ojivolta, Teddy, Jon Bellion, and 24.

The song is part of the singer’s upcoming debut single -R-, which will also be premiering on the same day at 2PM KST (1PM PHT). The album will consist of two songs “On the Ground” and “Ground,” which Rosé first performed during BLACKPINK’s online concert, THE SHOW.
Rosé will be holding a “Comeback Live” on March 12 at 1PM KST (12NN PHT) to celebrate the release of the song. She’s also reported to perform “On the Ground” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on March 16.
YG Entertainment has recently announced that her single album has already surpassed 400,000 pre-orders, with orders coming not only from Korea but also in China, Southeast Asia, US, Europe, and Japan. This also sets the record of the most pre-orders for a female solo artist in K-pop history.
Rosé is the second BLACKPINK member to release a solo album, with Jennie releasing SOLO back in 2018.
