Concert Rundown: Here are All the K-Pop and Hallyu Acts Heading to Manila This 2019!

K-pop fans, have you started saving up already? This year is going to be a fun one because of all the Korean music and television icons who will be visiting the country to perform and meet their Filipino fans! 

Grab your lightsticks now, as we give you a rundown of everything you need to know about the recent and the upcoming K-pop events this year! Don't forget to bookmark this page as well, because we will be updating them as more shows and dates are announced in the year! 

1. Seungri's "The Great Seungri Tour 2019" in Manila

BIGBANG's Seungri returned to the MOA Arena stage for his first solo concert here in the Philippines. The singer performed songs from his solo album The Great Seungri like "1, 2, 3" and "Where R U From", as well as classic BIGBANG hits "Bang Bang Bang" and "Fantastic Baby". 

Joined by 2NE1's Sandara Park, they also performed Iñigo Pascual's "Dahil Sa'yo" for their Filipino fans. 


Seungri last performed in Manila with G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P., and Daesung back in 2015 for BIGBANG's "MADE" World Tour. 

2. MOMOLAND Fanmeeting in Manila

Just a few months since K-pop group Momoland visited Manila to perform at an exclusive event, the group returned for a fanmeeting for their Filipino Merries last January 25. 

Composed of members Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Taeha, Nayun, Daisy, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy, the group debuted in November  2016 under MLD Entertainment, and has since released 4 mini albums and 1 compilation album. They're most popular for the songs "Bboom Bboom" and "Baam", released in January and June, respectively. 

3. BLACKPINK's 2019 World Tour "BLACKPINK IN YOUR AREA MANILA"

BLACKPINK's Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa have finally come to our area, Blinks! The 4-member group from YG Entertainment performed here in Manila last February 2, where they treated their fans to the stages of their hits like "Ddu Du Ddu Du", "Boombayah", "Playing With Fire", and more! 

The members also performed solo stages which showcased their talents, with Jennie performing "Solo", Lisa performing "Swalla", Rosé singing "Let It Be", "You & I", and "Only Look At Me", and JIsoo performing "Clarity". 

The sold-out show was presented by MMI Live and Pulp Live World. 

4. Park Hyung Sik Fun Meet 
February 16 (Mall of Asia Arena)

K-drama actor and singer Park Hyung Sik is coming back to Manila for a Bench Fun Meet this February 16 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. 

Hyung Sik is a member of the group ZE:A and is famous for his roles in dramas Hwarang and Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. He's also one of the "Global Benchsetters", alongside Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Dylan Wang, Cole Sprouse, and Brooklyn Beckham.

5. 2019 K-Pop Friendship in Manila

In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between South Korea and the Philippines, the Korean Culture Center here in the Philippines organized the 2019 K-Pop Friendship Concert in Manila, to be held on March 7 at the Mall of Asia Arena. 

The concert will be featuring performances by the NCT unit, NCT Dream, who is known for the songs "Candle Light", "We Go Up", and "Chewing Gum". Joining them are the girl group April and the boy group Noir. 

Admission for the event is free, but fans would have to wait for the qualifying forms on the event's Facebook page which will get them the vouchers for the show. 

6. Park Ji Hoon's Asia Fan Meeting in Manila "FIRST EDITION"

Following Wanna One's disbandment, Park Ji Hoon announced that he will be going on his first solo fan meeting tour this year, which kicks off in Seoul and includes a stop here in the Manila for his Filipino MAYs on March 15 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. 

Park Ji Hoon appeared in the 2017 survival television show "Produce 101" where he became known as "wink boy" and placed second, making him a member of Wanna One. After his activities with the group, the idol is said to focus on his singing and acting career. 

This is Ji Hoon's third visit in the Philippines, the most recent one being their Manila stop for Wanna One's "ONE: The World" Tour.

7. So Ji Sub's Asia Tour "Hello, Manila" 
March 16 (New Frontier Theater)

Actor So Ji Sub will also be heading to Manila on March 16 to warmly greet his fans and show a new side to him for his "Hello, Manila" fan meet at the New Frontier Theater! 

The 41-year old actor is most famous for his roles in I Am Ghost, Cain and Abel, Phantom, Memories of Bali, and Oh My Venus. Ji Sub also earned recognition for his performance in Cain and Abel, and 3 Best Actor recognitions for his role in the box office hit Rough Cut.

8. DREAMCATCHER's Invitation from the Night City in Manila 
March 24 (SM North EDSA Skydome)

South Korean pop-metal girl group DREAMCATCHER will be performing in Manila for the first time on March 24, 2019 at the SM North Edsa Skydome to perform for the Filipino InSomnia! 

The group, composed of members JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, Dami, Handong, and Gahyon, has already released four mini albums since their debut in 2017. They have recently made their comeback in February 2019 with the mini album The End of Nightmare with the title track "PIRI". 

General admission tickets are priced at P3000, while VIP tickets (which includes Hi-Touch) are priced at P6000. Tickets are now on-sale via SM Tickets. The show is made possible by the fans through MyMusicTaste. 

9. Stray Kids' "Unveil Tour 'I Am…'" in Manila

Filipino STAYs are in for a good April because Stray Kids will be taking on the stage of Araneta Coliseum for their "Unveil Tour 'I Am…'" in Manila on April 27! 

Recognized as Rookie Artist of the Year in 2018, Stray Kids is a rookie group under JYP Entertainment, formed from a reality show. The group – composed of members Bang Chan, Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. – has already released a predebut mixtape, and 3 mini albums, with I Am You being the most recent one, led by the title track of the same name.

10. K-Pop World Music Festival
June 9 (Mall of Asia Arena)

DnM Entertainment will be bringing together 5 K-pop acts in one stage for the K-Pop World Music Festival! Happening this June 9 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

SM Entertainment groups Red Velvet and NCT 127 will be headlining the show, alongside girl group Elris and solo acts Kim Dong Han and Sohee.

Ticket pre-sale will be on May 10, 10AM, at the SM Skydome. Tickets are priced from P3150 to P10500.

11. Park Bo Gum 2019 Asia Tour 
June 22 (Mall of Asia Arena)

After rumors that the Korean actor will be going to the country for a fanmeet, Blossom Entertainment and Ovation Productions have finally announced an official date! Happening on April 27, Park Bogum will be meeting his Filipino fans at the Mall of Asia Arena as part of his Good Day Asia Tour. The tour will also be including stops in Japan, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. 

The 25-year-old actor is most famous for his roles in dramas like Hello, Monster, Reply 1988, Love in the Moonlight, and Encounter.

Update: The show has been rescheduled to June 22, as announced by Park Bogum's management and Ovation Productions, following the earthquakes that ha happened in the Philippines in the recent days. 

12. Seo Kang Jun's 'The Last Charm' in Manila
May 25 (New Frontier Theater)

Adding to the list of all the Korean actors who will be visiting the country to meet their fans, Seo Kang Jun's agency, CDM Entertainment also announced that he will be including the country as one of the stops for his 'The Last Charm' tour. The event will be happening on May 25 at the New Frontier Theater. 

Seo Kang Jun is a member of the group 5unrise, and gained recognition for playing roles in dramas like Cheese in the Trap, The Third Charm, Are You Human?, and Entourage.

13. TWICE's TWICELIGHTS World Tour
June 29 (Mall of Asia Arena)

After years of waiting, PH ONCEs can now whip out all their savings as the 9-member group TWICE is finally coming to perform in Manila as part of the TWICELIGHTS World Tour! The show is happening on June 29 at the Mall of Asia Arena

Twice is composed of members Jihyo, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Nayeon, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, and is most famous for their songs "TT", "Likey", "Dance the NIght Away"and more. They recently made their comeback in April with the song and EP entitled Fancy

13. EXO's 'EXO Planet #5 – EXplOration' in Manila
August 23 and 24 (Mall of Asia Arena)

Just a year since their last concert here in Manila, EXO will be returning again this August 24 to perform for Filipino EXO-Ls for the 5th installment of the astounding EXO PLANET Concert Series. 

The group made their comeback last November with Don't Mess Up My Tempo, led by the title track "Love Shot".

14. GFriend's 'GFriend Asia Tour' in Manila
August 25 (New Frontier Theater)

A year after their successful Season of GFriend show last year, GFriend will be coming back to perform for their Buddies on August 25 at the New Frontier Theater. The show is made possible by the fans through MyMusicTaste. 

The group, composed of Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji, debuted in 2015 under Source Entertainment with the mini album Season of Glass. They have recently released a song called "Sunrise" which is part of the mini album Time For Us

15. NU'EST's Segno in Manila
August 31 (Araneta Coliseum)

Happening on August 31, 2019 at the Araneta Coliseum, Urban Electro Band NU'EST will be turning August into L.O.ㅅ.E month for in Manila!

Composed of members Ren, Min Hyun, JR, Baekho, and Aron, the group made their debut in 2012 under Pledis Entertainment. They released their most recent mini album, Happily Ever After, led by the title track "BET BET".

16. Jung Hae In's One Summer Night Fanmeeting in Manila
September 28 (New Frontier Theater)

Actor Jung Hae In is returning to Manila once again as part of the One Summer Night fan meeting tour this September 28! 

Jung Hae In made his first appearance on AOA's music video "Moya", and gained his recognition for appearing in dramas like While You Were Sleeping and Prison Playbook. His most recent drama is this year's Something in the Rain, which he starred alongside Son Ye Jin.

17. Lee Seung Gi's Vagabond Voyage
October 12

A Korean Odyssey lead star Lee Seung Gi is coming to Manila this October 12 for his Vagabond Voyage Asia Fanmeeting! Aside from Manila, the actor will also be making stops in Bangkok, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur to meet and interact with his fans. 

The 32-year-old singer, actor, and entertainer is known to be the "Ballad Prince", with hit songs like "Because You're My Woman", "Will You Marry Me", and "Return". He has also starred as the lead character in dramas like Brilliant Legacy, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, and A Korean Odyssey. He's also set to star in the upcoming drama Vagabond with Bae Suzy.

18. GOT7's Keep Spinning 2019 World Tour
October 26 (Mall of Asia Arena)

After a long wait, Filipino Ahgases will finally be seeing GOT7 at the Mall of Asia Arena this October as part of their Keep Spinning 2019 World Tour!

A group which debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2014, GOT7 is composed of members JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, Bambam, and Yugyeom. They're set to make their comeback on May 20 with Spinning Top: Between Security & Insecurity before embarking on their world tour which will be including stops in Mexico, Australia, United States, and more.

19. Cha Eun Woo's 1st Fan Meeting [JUST ONE 10 MINUTE] in Manila 
October 26 (New Frontier Theater)

Cha Eun Woo, who you may have seen as one of the boys of Astro or the lead to the drama My ID is Gangnam Beauty is heading to Manila this October 26 for his 1st Fan Meeting [JUST ONE 10 MINUTE] in Manila at the New Frontier Theater. 

One of the most requested artists to come to the Philippines, Cha Eun Woo started as a member of the K-pop group ASTRO, which debuted with the song "Hide & Seek" from the EP Spring Up back in 2016. He then ventured to hosting and acting, playing his first lead role in the drama My ID is Gangnam Beauty as Do Kyung Seok. He is now currently part of the historical drama Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung where he plays the prince Yi Rim, who also goes by the pen name Maehwa.

20. DAY6's GRAVITY World Tour in Manila

Join DAY6's  Jae, Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon as they do soul-stirring show this November 23 at the Araneta Coliseum for their GRAVITY World Tour

The band debuted in 2015 under JYP Entertainment, and they have been capturing the hearts of people since. Fans can expect to hear songs from the first EP The Day – led by the title track "Congratulations" – as well as those from their latest album The Book of Us: Entropy, including "Sweet Chaos", "Deep in Love", "Emergency", and more.

21. ITZY's Premiere Showcase Tour – ITZY? ITZY! in Manila
December 8 (New Frontier Theater)

Rookie group ITZY is set to visit Manila this December as part of their Premiere Showcase tour! ITZY? ITZY! will be happening this December 8 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. 

ITZY, composed of members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryoung, and Yuna, debuted under JYP Entertainment just in February this year with their single album It'z Different, headlined by the track "Dalla Dalla". Five months later, they made their comeback with It'z Icy, with "Icy" being its title track. The group has since been recognized at the 2019 Genie Music Awards and 2019 Soribada Best K-Music Awards, where they received the Female New Artist and Rookie Awards.  

Tickets for the show are priced from P3710 to P11660, and will go on-sale through TicketNet outlets on November 10.

IU's LOVE POEM in Manila

It's been a long wait for Filipino Uaenas, and finally, singer and actress IU will be coming to perform a solo concert here in the Philippines! Her Love Poem Tour is set to happen this December 13 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. 

Known as South Korea's Best Selling Female Solo Artist, IU debuted in 2008 with her first album Lost and Found. Throughout her 11-year career, she has already released 4 studio albums and 9 EPs. She will also be releasing her next album Love Poem in November this year. She also appeared in multiple dramas, with Hotel Del Luna, being her most recent one. 

Tickets are priced from P2500 to P9500, and will go on sale this November 17. 

22. Super Junior's Super Show 8: Infinite Time in Manila
December 15 (Mall of Asia Arena)

Korean group Super Junior is set to come back to the Philippines to perform both their classic and latest hits for their Super Show 8: Infinite Time in Manila! The show is happening on December 15 at the Mall of Asia Arena! 

Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Donghae, Siwon, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun will be ending the year with an epic show where they will showcase their talents and charisma, performing songs like the hits "Sorry Sorry", "Lo Siento", and "Black Suit". With the release of their 9th studio album, ELFs can also expect for the group to treat fans with a performance of tracks like "Super Clap", "Somebody New", "The Crown", and more.
